The European Institute for Psychotherapeutic Studies (Euroips) is committed to high quality  provision of Continued Professional Development and was established in 2004 by it's Founding Director, Dr. Ken Evans. In 2007 Joanna Hewitt Evans became a Co-Director. Euroips residential base in France is also a pro- organic farm, working toward self sustainability, and with its own flock of pedigree Suffolk sheep and herd of registered Charolais and Limousine cows. A new friend Pip, a registered  3 year old Working Sheepdog joined us in July 2009 and successfully manages to herd the sheep with little or no assistance (interference) from us.

Ken and Joanna became grandparents  for the first time on My 7th, 2010 when Ruth and Martin  brought little Ella into the world.

Euroips is an Associate Member of the European Association for Integrative Psychotherapy and a Cooperative Member of the European Association for Gestalt Therapy.

Euroips approach to work and life draws from a variety of sources and especially the writings of the philosopher Martin Buber. We take seriously his challenge to co-create an I-Thou attitude (seeing one self and the other as a human being and not as an object to be manipulated) in all aspects of personal, professional and spiritual development. The I-Thou attitude informs and permeates all our activity and endeavor. We therefore support and challenge people to deeper levels of contact with themselves and others, including the earth and all living creatures.
